When I say, "Travel", what words come to mind? Exotic, fun, dangerous, exciting?
Today I had the incredible opportunity to share with high school sophomores the first word that comes to my mind…. "HOW".
HOW can I travel to foreign lands? HOW can I afford it? HOW can I gain support? HOW can I make my dreams a reality?
Sharing my personal dream scheme and the proactive steps necessary to achieving any goal, I next opened the floor to discussion. Bursting with questions and stories, I saw something teachers have the great privilege of seeing everyday -
a spark, a light, a dream being born in many of those students eyes. Today was magical.
Whatever your dream is, from this moment on, associate only one word...HOW. How can you make your dreams a reality?
